2016 Joint CASC-ACE Conference CFP/RFP now available!

Dear CASC Community,

We warmly invite your submissions to this year’s Joint Conference of the Canadian Association for Studies in Co-operation (CASC) and the Association of Cooperative Educators (ACE): Energizing Communities: Co-operatives Nurturing Democratic Practice!  The conference will be held June 1-3, 2016 at the University of Calgary, Alberta.  You will find the CFP/RFP at the following links, in English and en Francais.  Please feel free to distribute the CFPs, and note that proposals are due January 15th, 2016.

In addition, below you will find links for a number of other relevant calls for paper and events:

1.  The European Journal for Research on the Education and Learning of Adults (RELA) has issued three Calls for Papers (info for all of which is linked here):

– A thematic issue on “Social economy as an alternative to capitalism – Learning solidarity and autonomy” (submit by December 15th)

– A thematic issue on “Marketization and commodification of adult education” (submit by November 30th)

– A non-thematic issue.

2.  International Summit of Cooperatives Scientific Conference: October 11‒13, 2016, Quebec City (submit by Feb. 29th for papers, or by March 30th for activities)

3. International Co-operative Alliance Committee on Co-operative Research conference: May 24-27, 2016, Almería, Spain (submit by Dec. 31st)
