CASC/ACÉC 2011 Conference & Membership form

The 2011 Annual General Meeting for CASC/ACÉC will coincide with the 2011 Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences in Fredericton, New Brunswick. For more details on the event, location, and call for papers please see the Winter 2011 edition of our newsletter. For information on this year’s them and conference topics, please make way to our Call for Papers page..

To ensure your participatin in the AGM, please be sure to fill out the membership form (posted below) by March 31st, 2011. By doing so you will receive the discounted membership rates, which include fees
for the conference and a one-year membership in CASC. Membership rates for the 2011/12 CASC year are: regular members $125; students, retired individuals, and the underwaged $55. Please note that there is an additional fee for those wishing to attend the Annual CASC Banquet, which is a joint affair held in collaboration with ANSER.

To register with CASC/ACÉC simply print and fill out the registration form along with a cheque or money order for the appropriate amount made out to CASC, and mail it to:

Winter 2011 Newsletter

The 2011 newsletter (English version) has been prepared. Inside you will find valuable information about the upcoming conference, a retrospective look at 2010 successes, and information on the extended call for papers.

Call for Papers – 2011 CASC Annual Conference

This year’s CASC conference will be held from June 1st to June 3rd, 2011 during the Annual Congress of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) 2011 at the University of New Brunswick and St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. The theme is Cooperation in a Changing Economy: The Role of Social Innovation and Collective Entrepreneurship. We invite researchers, students, and practitioners to submit abstracts that reflect on the importance of co-operative research to building equitable and sustainable communities.  For more details, please see the following document:
